Friendship Star Blocks
When a Sea Island Quilter moves away, members may make Friendship Blocks to share with that member. Blocks are collected by the guild officers and sent to the former member, as a way for the member to fondly remember their quilting friends and time in the guild. Joyful Arrows Block Instructions
Member Joy Gockenbach wow'ed us in our June 2019 meeting with a demonstration on how to put together a "joyful arrows" quilt block. We were challenged to all make a block and bring it to the next meeting - and we were in AWE of the number of blocks that were made!
