Friendship Star Blocks
When a Sea Island Quilter moves away, members may make Friendship Blocks to share with that member. Blocks are collected by the guild officers and sent to the former member, as a way for the member to fondly remember their quilting friends and time in the guild. We were challenged to all make a block and bring it to the next meeting - and we were in AWE of the number of blocks that were made! Jeanette Bussard wrote up instructions with photos for easy reference -- click on the PDF document on the right to enlarge the instructions for making this wonderful block!
